Trout Season started with a very productive Junior session on Saturday. Fish were biting and the juniors had a very good time. Some learned some new tricks that they will apply for the rest of their fishing careers.
A recent review of the reporting sheet shows that the pond has been heavily fished. There were 8 completed reporting sheets and one half full as of the first week and a half. Probably 700 fish entered so far. Still hundreds left; may be a little harder to find.
We are happy that the fishing has attracted so many members and hope that the continued use of the pond for recreation is attractive to all.
